The first engraved rocks were discovered in the area of Punta San Vigilio, on Mount Luppia, in 1964, but soon he was able to understand that the whole area was affected by this phenomenon. To date have been cataloged more than 250 rocks and at least 3000 figures, also in the territories of San Zeno, Costermano and Malcesine. Incisions oldest date back to the Bronze Age and it's messages left by hunters or shepherds, who immortalized the rock scenes of battles, knights, ships, religious symbols or ancient games .... The Museum of Medieval Castle of Torri, in the room dedicated to the Rock Engravings, preserves important examples of this art.
