This is a wine with an old and long-standing tradition, the denomination includes a vast territory from Sirmione to Limone, bordering the province of Trento. This wine is intense and fragrant, unadulterated and sincere, like the land and the people, who produce it. Garda Classico Doc includes the grapes of
Groppello and
Groppello Riserva,
Reds and
Superior Reds,
Chiarettos and
Whites.
Garda Classico ChiarettoProduced from a selection of red grapes: Groppello,
Marzemino,
Barbera and
Sangiovese. A wine derived from a particular winemaking process, with a lovely pale pink colour and reflections of ruby. Delicately perfumed, flowery and fruity. A characteristic wine with a balanced taste. This is an ideal wine to drink young. Suitable with appetizers, lake fish, vegetables and white meat.
Best served between 8° - 10° C.
Garda Classico RossoProduced from Groppello,
Marzemino,
Barbera and
Sangiovese grapes. A brilliant ruby red colour and a light wine perfume with a hint of tartness. This is a wine that can accompany many dishes from cured meats to red meat and cheeses.
Best served between 16° - 18° C.
Garda Classico Rosso SuperioreProduced using a careful selection of grapes from the
Garda Classico Rosso. The grapes once harvested are placed in a “fruttaio” (a well ventilated room) to dry out, they are pressed and the wine is “rested” in wooden barrels for a year. Here is a wine with a deep translucent red colour and spicy perfume. A harmonious wine, dry and velvety with a hint of tartness. Served with spiedo (a local spit roast from the city of Brescia and Lombardy) with game and roast meats.

Garda Classico GroppelloProduced principally with grapes of the
Groppello variety native to the Valtenesi area (Autochthon). A fine ruby red colour and a spicy fruit perfume. A pleasant harmonious and velvety taste. Ideal served with tasty starters, red and white meat and slightly – seasoned cheeses.

Garda Classico Groppello RiservaProduced with grapes of the
Groppello variety native to the Valtenesi area (Autochthon). Coming from a vine field specially selected for its low harvest per acre. An intense ruby red colour and a spicy fruit perfume. A balanced taste, dry and with structure. Excellent with red meat, spiedo bresciano and cheeses.

Garda Classico BiancoProduced from
Riesling renano and
italico grapes with a lovely pale golden colour. A perfume of fruit and flowers and a hint of the aroma of grapes. A dry fresh taste. Excellent served with appetizers, sea and lake fish.
