The privacy policy shall be updated by Garda Unico S.c.r.l., and the user is advised to carefully read and save this privacy policy before providing any personal details or data.
This privacy policy is provided for the purposes of the law pursuant to art. 13 of the Data Protection Code.

 

Definitions

Privacy Code Legislative Degree 196 dated 30/06/2003, Code concerning the protection of personal data;
Privacy Policy Contains information and notification of the manner in which the Website is managed and provision of personal data by the User in compliance with the Data Protection Code, provisions set out by the Italian Data Protection Authority and technical regulations in the sector generally;

Data Processor Garda Unico S.c.r.l. is designated data processor in line with article 29 of the Data Protection Code;
Personal data Any information concerning a physical person who is indentified or can be identified, even indirectly, by reference to any other information including a personal identification number;
Browsing data Refers to data which the I.T. systems and software procedures designed to make the website function receive in the course of normal operations and which could facilitate identification of the Website User by means of the processing and association of data held by third parties. This category of data includes, for example; - URI Uniform Resource Identifier address (ftp://..., http://..., mailto:...., etc.); - the time and method used when submitting the request to the server;  - the dimensions of the file obtained in response; - the numerical code indicating the state of the data response from the server (successful, error, etc.).
Cookies

Strings of text of small dimensions which the websites visited by the User send to his or her terminal where they are memorised to then be resent to the same websites on the next visit by the same User. Data voluntarily provided by the user

The sending of mail or email to the addresses listed above, or filling in the Request Info page or the Accommodation page on the Website are all at optional, explicit and voluntary and result in the subsequent acquisition of said data provided by the User, including any information s(he) may provide in the message.
Note that this data is processed for the sole purpose of answering any requests from the User in a precise and efficient manner in compliance with the provisions set out in the Data Protection Code, also in the case of a request accompanied by the explicit consent of the User to receive the newsletter and promotional/informative material in general.
The data may be communicated to companies in the group and, potentially, to subjects outside of the group such as lawyers, accountants, H.R. consultants, credit institutions, professional associations, etc. of whose services our company avails.
In no case shall the data be disseminated.

 

Privacy policy on browsing the Website

The Website uses technical cookies. In particular:

  • session cookies from the WDP platform which allow normal browsing and use of the Website but are not recorded in any permanent way on the user's computer and disappear as soon as the browser is closed;
  • Google Analytics cookies. The Website avail of the Google Analytics service provided by the company Google, Inc. (hereafter called "Google") in order to generate statistics on use of the web portal. Another function which many browsers have is an incognito browsing mode. Handling of data

  1. updating, rectification or, where interested therein, integration of the data;
  2. erasure, anonymization or blocking of data that has been processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which it has been collected or subsequently processed;
  3. certification to the effect the operations as per 1) and 2) above have been notified, as also related to their contents, to the entities to whom or which the data was communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right that is to be protected;

the right to object, in whole or in part:

  1. on legitimate grounds, to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, even though they are relevant to the purpose of the collection;
  2. to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, where it is carried out for the purpose of sending advertising material or direct selling or else for the performance of market or commercial communication surveys.
