S. Bartolomeo Church - Ledro
The church of St. Bartolomeo is an aisleless church painted by Agostino Aldi from Mantua (end 1800 - beginning 1900) and it preserves some valuable, recently restored works.
The present building was erected in 1860 according to the plan by architect Claricini, but documents confirm the existence of a smaller rectangular church already in 1348, in the course of centuries it was often enlarged and finally rebuilt. Of course it is the 72 metres high, stone bell-tower that first captures your attention, but it is most of all the high altar piece that arouses admiration.
