As for the Castle of Manerba, only some fragments are currently visible. In fact, the castle situated within parco della rocca was completely destroyed. Dating back to 1576, in fact, the complete destruction of its walls by order of a Venetian Superintendent employed by the Most Serene Republic of Venice. The place had become, according to reported accounts, an area of refuge for bandits as early as the late sixteenth century and since 1573 they began the actual demolition of the building.
