Wines from Trentino

A large number of wine varieties, both nationally and internationally, are cultivated here. One of the most noteworthy, from which a delicate wine is produced, is the Nosiola grape, excellent in accompanying hors d’ oeuvres.
Other traditional varieties include Schiava and Lagrein from which result fruity and pleasant rosè wines. Not to be forgotten are international vines such as the red Cabernet and Merlot or the white fruit varieties of spicy and elegant aromas such as Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco and Grigio, Sauvignon and Traminer Aromatico. Prized dessert wines not to be left out are: the perfumed Moscato Giallo and the noble and long-lived Trentino Vino Santo obtained by allowing the Nosiola grapes to dry on wooden trellises.
