The Comune of Affi is situated in the north western part of the Province of Verona, stretching in the hinterland of Lake of Garda between Bardolino and Rivoli Veronese and over the south plain of Caprino between the morainic amphitheatre of Rivoli Veronese and the one in Garda, including Mount Moscal (427 metres above sea level) that rises out of the surrounding plain.
The growing of wine is at present the most profitable business; the wines produced in this area are the Bardolino Classico, the Chiaretto and some more wines from the Valdadige. The production techniques have improved considerably leading to rationalising production to increase the final quantity of wine, woven together with new business guidelines. Apart from wine also olive and fruit trees are grown in large numbers, especially pear and peach trees.
The land includes some particular landscapes and beauties of nature that are visited by numerous tourists, like Mount Moscal, a mountain that dominates the area, and the morainic amphitheatre of Rivoli that witnesses the changes occurred during the glacial era during the Quaternary period. The Valsorda stretching from Incaffi down to Bardolino is also very well known.
